OUR PROJECTS
Here is a selection of notable projects we are proud to have supported:
King's Cross Station Remodelling
The King's Cross Station Remodelling project formed part of the wider £1.2bn East Coast Main Line upgrade programme and comprised a £259m multi-disciplinary investment.
The works included the introduction of two additional lines through Gasworks tunnel, the construction of Platform 0, and a revised track layout to facilitate Thameslink trains through Belle Isle Junction.
We provided Engineering Management and Signal Sighting support, with sighting assessments carried out using a 3D model, to improve accuracy, reduce costs and minimise rework.

Cambridge Re-Signalling (C3R)
The Cambridge Re-Signalling, Re-Lock and Re-Control (C3R) project is a £140m multi-disciplinary scheme focused on renewing life-expired signalling infrastructure originally installed in the 1980s.
The project scope includes upgrading control systems at Cambridge PSB, renewing or enhancing lineside signalling equipment, introducing new train detection systems and improve level crossing infrastructure across the area.
We provide Engineering Management (CEM) and Signal Sighting support throughout GRIP stages 4-6. This includes design assurance, site surveys and commissioning support.
Cork Area Commuter Rail Project (CACR)
The Cork Area Commuter Rail Project forms part of a major multi-billion-euro investment programme aimed at transforming the rail network in Cork, enhancing both capacity and service frequency across the region.
The scheme is being delivered in two phases, including the development of eight new stations, electrification of the network, upgrades to signalling and communications systems and the introduction of a new rolling stock fleet.
We are providing critical Signal Sighting support, adopting an integrated approach to ensure alignment between the project team and operators throughout the design development stage and wider progression.

Cambridge South Infrastructure Enhancements (CSIE)
The Cambridge South Infrastructure Enhancements Project is a £211m multi-disciplinary scheme focused on remodelling the southern approach to Cambridge Station, including the delivery of the new Cambridge South Station.
The scope of works includes reconfiguration of the existing track layout, enhancements to Shepreth Branch Junction and modification to existing signalling and telecommunications infrastructure.
We provided Engineering Management (CEM) and Signal Sighting support throughout ES5-6, including design assurance, site surveys and commissioning checks. 3D modelling support was delivered in partnership with True North Rail, helping to manage complex signal sighting challenges and visibility constraints, whilst reducing rework and minimising commissioning risk.
Transpennine Route Upgrades (TRU)
The Transpennine Route Upgrade is a major, multi-billion-pound programme delivering significant improvements across the Pennines, aimed at enhancing performance, reliability and service frequency.
The TRU East & West scope includes electrification of the route, track renewals, signalling enhancements and drainage improvements.
We have provided Signal Sighting Chairperson support, working collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders to ensure a co-ordinated and efficient approach throughout the delivery of signalling upgrades.
